I recently spent a night at the Doubletree By Hilton in Lansing. The location felt perfect. I could easily walk to downtown restaurants and the minor league baseball field. Staff members greeted me warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. My room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. However, the elevators were a real headache. Only one was operational during peak hours, leading to long waits, sometimes over 20 minutes. It felt frustrating, especially when I had to lug my bags up several flights of stairs. The dining options were underwhelming too. The restaurant’s menus looked worn out and messy, and they were out of many items. I couldn't even get standard bread for my charcuterie plate. Surprisingly, the breakfast buffet didn’t offer much variety compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in, disappointing for its price. Overall, while I appreciated the friendly staff and clean accommodations, significant improvements in dining options and elevator service are definitely needed.

perfect spot for exploring parks and historic landmarks

I really enjoyed staying here as the bed was comfortable and it’s just a few steps from Wentworth Park, which made my morning walks delightful, while also being close to the impressive Michigan State Capitol, making it easy to take in the sights without needing to drive.

The hotel had a nice location, making it convenient for my family. The kids enjoyed the comfortable rooms, which were spacious enough to accommodate all of us. I appreciated the friendly staff at check-in, who made us feel welcome upon arrival.

I had a decent stay with a surprisingly delicious room service meal, vivid cleanliness in the room, and the cozy, comfy bed. I'd consider returning for another stay!

The breakfast offered a fantastic selection of fresh fruit, and the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful throughout my stay. Additionally, the lack of communication from management regarding an unauthorized charge left a negative impression on my overall experience.

The King Room with Sofa Bed was decent. Bed was super comfy, which is great, but the door was kind of falling off the hinges, making it tricky to close. Got a good deal overall!

We stayed for 1 night in a spacious King Room with loads of amenities, including a handy fridge. Loved the relaxing river view and the comfy furniture!
